If you are in school years 3, 4, 5 or 6 then Kidz Camp is the camp for you!! Are you up for the most action-packed, fun-filled weekend ever?

Get ready to run, throw, dodge, splash, slide, launch, wiggle, play, sing, dance, laugh, create & have loads of fun!

WHEN?

This year's Kidz Camp will take place over the weekend of 25th to 27th June 2010. Starting at 5pm on Friday the fun just wont stop all the way to 5pm on Sunday.

WHERE?

Kidz Camp is set at the fantastic Paccar Scout Camp (formally known as Chalfont Heights) which is used reguarly by many scout & Guides groups.

HOW MUCH?

In order to book your place, please follow the instructions on the Kidz Camp Online Booking Form. All money must be paid in full by 11th June 2010. Failure to do so will result in your place being cancelled.

With our new online booking system we encourage you to pay with credit or debit card online.

TRANSPORT

Return transport from Slough to Chalfont Heights is included in the cost.  Buses will be leaving Montem Leisure Centre (rear car park) in Slough. Departure time will be 5pm Friday 25th June and returning at 5pm Sunday 27th June.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Return transport (Slough to Chalfont Heights), accommodation, food and activities are all included in the price of the camp.  However, your child will need a little money for the onsite tuck & gift shop. This should be limited to £5-£15 max per child.

The accommodation at Chalfont Heights will be in dormitories and tents.  We will do our best to accommodate your child with those your child has asked to room share with but are unable to guarantee every request.  On arrival we will inform your child of who they will be sharing with.

Kidz Camp is full board with breakfast, lunch & dinner provided each day.  If your child has any special dietary requirements, please ensure you inform us on the booking form.

Your child will need to bring the following: wash kit, towels, sleeping bag, pillow, change of clothes including sports kit, torch, waterproofs (it is England!) and swimming costumes.

SAFETY

All children’s workers have undergone CRB checks and have been trained in the best practice guidelines contained in the King’s Church Child Protection Policy.  Workers qualified in First Aid will also be onsite throughout the duration of the camp.

INSURANCE

King’s Church has adequate Public Liability Insurance cover.  However, as this camp is within the UK, travel insurance is not included in the price of the camp.  If you wish to have insurance for things like injury, loss of money or damage to personal property etc. you will need to arrange this yourself.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Cancellations must be made in writing and deposits are non-refundable. Bookings are non-transferable. Money will not be returned for children who are sent home early due to failure to comply with the camp rules.

From time to time videos and photographs will be taken at camp. These may be used as promotional material by the church. Please notify us in writing if you do not wish to appear in such material.

CAMP RULES  

1. Children are expected to comply with the instructions of the Kidz Camp leadership team. In extreme circumstances failure to abide by the camp rules may result in the child being sent home.

2. Mobile phones must not be brought to the camp. The camp emergency telephone number will be 07810 872316.

3. Expensive toys (e.g. Nintendo DS & Sony PSP etc.) must not be brought to the camp.

4. Pocket money should be limited to between £5 and £15 maximum per child.

5. Boys are not allowed in the girls rooms/tents & girls are not allowed in the boys rooms/tents.
